My supervisor has just been changed and I have a new supervisor. He just joined the team and he claims to know everything. It's two weeks now since he started working with us and he has been very annoying. Can you imagine the latest advice he gave me today about midday? I had a DND sign on one of my room doors and I kept checking to see if the guest had checked out.
My new supervisor asked me to remove the DND sign and drop on the floor, knock on the door, apologize to the guest and tell the guest the DND sign was on the floor and I would like to know if he/she actually didn't want to be disturbed. Then I should quietly hang the sign back but confirm what time he/she will be checking out. Can you believe this?
I thought the best way was to confirm from front office or something like that!!!! Aproko Supervisor.
